Topic: Burj Khalifa
I started the presentation by
introducing the topic and the content we were going to present. Our
presentation was divided into two parts; I started by giving general information about Burj Khalifa, that
it is located in Dubai, considered the highest building built by humans and other
information about Burj Khalifa. Then I shifted to the construction of the skyscraper;
I mentioned that the work began in January 2004 and the total cost amounted to
$ 1.5 billion. Then I showed them pictures for the stages of the construction from
2006-2008.
Abdulaziz continued the second part of the presentation; he
started to compare the Burj Khalifa with the other skyscrapers. He also
mentioned the inspiration behind the design.
Then he talked about the numbers of the Burj like how many floors, elevators ,
what is the total number of the apartments and from which distance we can see
Burj Khalifa. Finally, Abdulaziz talked about Burj Khalifa’s high records (2nd
highest swimming pool, highest restaurant and the world’s highest elevator
installation), then he asked for questions.
